The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL Winnipeg Jets and AHL Manitoba Moose, have announced they have signed forward Ben Murphy.

Murphy, 24, joins the Oilers out of Bowling Green State University where he totaled 67 points (34 goals and 33 assists) in 175 games.

The Duxbury, Massachusetts native finished the 2015-16 WCHA season with 12 points and a plus three rating.

The 6-foot forward won’t be a stranger to the Tulsa squad as he skated in the 2014-15 BGSU campaign alongside Oilers forward Dan DeSalvo and defenseman Connor Kucera.

Wednesday night the Oilers earned a win over the Utah Grizzlies and will face them again tonight in the Maverick Center in West Valley City, Utah. Follow along with the Oilers on Twitter (@Tulsa_Oilers) and Facebook.
