OILERS UNVEIL 2026-27 SCHEDULE AHEAD OF CLUB’S 75TH CAMPAIGN

Tulsa announces full schedule for 2026-27 regular season, featuring plenty to celebrate during Oilers’ Diamond Jubilee

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks and the AHL’s San Diego Gulls and powered by Community Care, announced Thursday the team’s 2026-27 ECHL schedule, the 75thcampaign under the Oilers banner.

The Oilers kick off their Diamond Jubilee at the BOK Center on Saturday, Oct. 17, hosting the Allen Americans with puck drop between the two rivals slated for 7:05 p.m. Tulsa follows up with a second, single-game week and the first road test of the season, traveling to Wichita, Kansas on Friday, Oct. 23 to take on the Thunder at 7:05 p.m.

The Oilers’ Annual Kid’s Day Game introduces a busy, four-game final week of October, with a 10:35 a.m. showdown on Tuesday, Oct. 27, featuring a second meeting with the Americans. The Oilers travel to Wichita for a second time on the month for a 2:05 Halloween matinee game at INTRUST Bank Arena on Saturday, Oct. 31 — the third of five consecutive meetings between the two clubs.

The first Sunday Family Funday of the 2026-27 season takes place on Sunday, Nov. 8, headlined by a 3:05 p.m. showdown with the Allen Americans. As always, fans can go down on the ice, meet the players, skate with the team or get autographs free of charge. Skating is not a requirement to access the ice during the postgame skate, but fans can rent skates or bring their own pair if they wish to participate.

The North Division’s Worcester Railers travel to the BOK Center for the first time since the Oilers’ Mountain-Division claiming 2018-19 campaign. The Oilers and Railers commence the three-in-three set on Black Friday, Nov. 27 and close the series with a 3:05 p.m. start on Sunday, Nov. 29. Friday and Saturday both begin at 7:05 p.m. and all three games are at the BOK Center. Worcester is the first Eastern Conference and non-division opponent on the 2026-27 schedule and the first Eastern Conference opponent to play a three-game series in Tulsa since the Oilers joined the ECHL 13 seasons ago.

The Oilers will host two games at WeStreet Ice Center in season 75, hosting the Kansas City Mavericks on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7:05 p.m. before welcoming Wichita to 4143 S. Yale Ave on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3:05 p.m. Sunday’s game will still feature a Sunday Family Funday postgame skate.

The New Mexico Goat Heads travel to the BOK Center for a three-in-three series on Friday, Dec. 18, the first three meetings between Tulsa and New Mexico during the latter’s inaugural season. The Oilers will travel to their newest division opponents for a lone three-game series in New Mexico. Wednesday, March 24, Friday, March 26 and Saturday March 27, with all three games getting underway at 8 p.m. CT.

Tulsa closes 2026 in Independence, Missouri, with a 7:05 p.m. showing of the Kansas City Mavericks and Tulsa Oilers at Cable Dahmer Arena. The Oilers initiate 2027 with a rematch on Saturday, Jan. 1 at 6:05 p.m. before hosting the reigning Brabham Cup Champions for a potential rubber match at 3:05 p.m. at the BOK Center.

A trip to Wheeling, West Virginia is on tap for the fourth time in franchise history, with the Nailers hosting Tulsa on Jan. 22 and Jan. 23. WesBanco Arena serves as the venue for both meetings, with both scheduled at 6:10 p.m. CT. Despite four of the past seven seasons featuring an Oilers-Nailers series, the two teams will have to wait at least another year for a Green Country appearance for the Nailers.

The Diamond Anniversary squad travels to the South Division for the second straight season, squaring off with Savannah for the first time in franchise history. The Oilers and Ghost Pirates will square off on Feb. 26 and 27 at 6 p.m. CT at Enmarket Arena.

Tulsa’s most common opponent is the Wichita Thunder, with 14 meetings on the 2026-27 docket — one more game than the previous two campaigns combined. The longest rivalry in Tulsa Oilers history, the 14-game season series is the 35th consecutive between the two teams, dating back to the Oilers’ 1992-93 rebirth.

Allen served as the Oilers’ most played adversary for the past three seasons, but will play Tulsa nine times this season, matching the series lengths of fellow division foes Idaho and Tahoe. The defending Mountain Division and Brabham Cup champion Kansas City Mavericks squeak in with the second-most games this year with 10. Rapid City and New Mexico round out the Mountain Division, with the Oilers facing both teams six times — thrice at home and thrice away.
