PICCINICH NAMED TO 2020 WARRIOR/ECHL ALL-STAR CLASSIC

TULSA, OK — The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s St. Louis Blues, announced Monday that forward J.J. Piccinich has been selected as the Oilers’ representative at the 2020 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Toyota, hosted by the Wichita Thunder in Wichita, KS.

Piccinich has 32 points (9G, 23A) in 33 games with the Oilers this season, surpassing his points total from his 2018-19 Kelly Cup campaign with the Newfound Growlers. In total, the Paramus, NJ native has 106 points (36G, 70A) in 164 career ECHL games, appearing for Tulsa, Newfoundland and Orlando. A fourth round pick of the Maple Leafs in 2014, Piccinich has also played in 10 career AHL games, six with the Toronto Marlies and four with the San Antonio Rampage.

Prior to turning pro, the 6’0, 190 lbs. forward played in the OHL for the London Knights, compiling 138 points (56G, 82A) in 132 games.
