Oilers Sign Defenseman from Lake Superior State University Tulsa, OK (March 18, 2016)– The Tulsa Oilers, ECHL affiliate of the NHL Winnipeg Jets and AHL Manitoba Moose announced the signing of defenseman Eric Drapluk.Drapluk, 23, joins the Oilers out of Lake Superior State University where he played 134 games accruing 13 goals and 25 assists for 38 points.The Pembroke Pines, Florida native racked up 42 penalty minutes in 24 games with Lake Superior during the 2015-16 campaign before heading to Tulsa.The Oilers return home tonight to the BOK Center where they will go head-to-head with the league-leading Missouri Mavericks on Alzheimer’s Association Night.-#GOilers-
