TULSA, OK — The Oilers blanked the Utah Grizzlies 2-0 at the BOK Center on Saturday night.
Charlie Sampair broke the deadlock with 4:12 remaining in the first period, flying down the right wing, cutting to the forehand and tucking the puck past a sprawling Garrett Metcalf.
Adam Pleskach notched his 20th goal of the season with 1:06 remaining in the second period, shoveling home a net-mouth feed on the power play.
Hayden Hawkey stopped 29 of 29 shots, earning his second shutout of the season and his first as an Oiler.
